Splendid!
By Michael Tozer
George Knupffer's "The Struggle for World Power" is truly one of the most well written and important books I have ever read. Herein is detailed an extraordinarily thoughtful and well presented argument that illustrates the common origins of capitalism and communism and how these two movements have worked in tandem to create what is now rightly called the Servile State. Now, the latter appelation was first, I believe, set forth by the great Hilaire Belloc. But it well applies to our current situation, so vividly predicted by the brilliant and faithful Knupffer.
Among the more compelling and important aspects of this wonderful work is the author's description of the truth of Imperial Russia before the Bolshevik Revolution. It was, in fact, the most sane and just polity in modern history. And Holy Russia was on the way to dominance in European affairs, both economic and political. As the world's last great Christian monarchy, Holy Russia then represented an existential threat to the revolutionary powers that now largely run our fallen world. It was for this reason alone that Holy Russia was chosen for destruction by the forces of subversion.
Knupffer finally proposes the formulation of a "party of the Right". And his sane and just program for restoring order is as important today, as it was when written decades ago. Any person truly interested in understand modern history and our current situation would be well served by reading this terribly important and beautifully rendered book.

The Struggle for World Power.
By New Age of Barbarism
We shall have World Government whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by Conquest or Consent.
- James P. Warburg, son of Paul M. Warburg.
_The Struggle for World Power: Revolution and Counter-Revolution_, first published in 1958 and re-published in 1986 by Noontide Press, by Russian migr and monarchist George Knupffer is a fascinating account of the struggle between the materialistic messianists of usury capitalism and global communism and Christian civilization. George Knupffer was born early in the Twentieth century in St. Petersburg and was linked to the Russian monarchical dynasty. Knupffer fought in the Second World War after witnessing firsthand the Russian Civil War and the horrors of the Bolsheviks. Later he was to live as an exile in London. This work has also appeared in Spain under the title _La Lucha por el Poder Mondial_. One of the unique aspects of this book is that unlike many of those written from the perspective of the radical and anti-communist right, Knupffer also recognizes the evils of usury capitalism. Thus, it may be seen that rather than serving as a safeguard against Socialism and Communism, usury capitalism itself is a tool of the materialistic messianists and thus furthers their aims. In addition, Knupffer is able to see through much of the propaganda against the Russian people, and he notes that the Russians are fundamentally anti-communist and monarchist and that their nation has been overtaken by usurpers. Thus, Knupffer sees a distinct role for the Russians in the formation of a Christian party of the Right to oppose the materialistic messianists of the Left.
Knupffer begins his book by considering a "three card trick", it is maintained that the world is divided into Communists in the East (including Russia) and Capitalism plus Democracy in the West. However, as Knupffer quickly shows this is an illusion, in that finance capital is certainly not opposed to the rise of Socialism and thereby Communism. Knupffer argues that through the Federal Reserve banking system and centralized banking generally, usury capitalism seeks to create a World Government in opposition to traditional Christian civilization. Knupffer then quotes extensively from various sources, showing the power of finance capitalism, world government, and the role of the Jews in the creation of world government and the Jewish state in Palestine. (Knupffer does however exonerate the great mass of Jews maintaining that it is only certain conspirators who are involved in this process.) Knupffer considers the economic origins of power, showing how the use of money developed from the medieval period until the modern day system of banking through the goldsmiths. Knupffer shows the power of gold and how this power came to be replaced by money that was not backed up by anything but paper. In this manner, the bankers have been able to consolidate their power over the people. Knupffer maintains that the bankers operate as a cartel in their control of the money and that this is contrary to the teachings of Christ which maintaining that one should "render to Caesar what is Caesar's" regard the coining of money as the proper role of the state rather than that of a cartel. Knupffer explains the role of capitalism and banking as well as the political consequences of banking, showing the rise of the "Glorious Revolution". Knupffer regards medieval Christian civilization as an ideal which has been lost because of the rise of the bankers and the role of usury. Following this, Knupffer turns his attention to socialism (mentioning in particular the role of Karl Marx). Knupffer maintains that it has been widely noticed that the present system of usury capitalism is doomed and as such the capitalists seek to maintain their power over the people through socialism. This in particular is the system that has been implemented in the Soviet state. Knupffer shows how the bankers must maintain the need for borrowers through manipulating the economic system and unemployment. Further, Knupffer shows that through taxation, the bankers are able to effectively limit the freedom of the people and thus profit off of them. Knupffer maintains that a new dispensation is necessary and a return to the medieval system free from the debt of usury capitalism; however, he notes that bankers may still have some limited role to play within such a system. While such a system would not be a utopia on earth, such being an impossibility because of the Fall, Knupffer maintains that it would be superior to both usury capitalism and socialism/communism. Knupffer then notes how through their foreign policy, the bankers have created wars, including the First and Second World Wars which have given rise to the present situation of a "Cold War" between the West and Russia. Knupffer maintains that the Russian people are fundamentally opposed to communism and adhere to the traditions of the Russian Orthodox Church, and thus, are enslaved by the economic system which currently wreaks havoc upon their nation. Knupffer shows how much of the anti-Russian propaganda in the West is in error, as well as the Western notion that the economic system of the West (Capitalism and Democracy) can provide a bulwark against the rise of communism. Knupffer provides extensive details about Russia and the Revolution, and he also shows how the West has gone wrong in its policies towards Russia. Thus, rather than effectively opposing the menace of Communism, the West has played right into the hands of the Soviet elite, who are ultimately tools of the bankers hellbent on World Government. Knupffer then proposes a plan of counter-revolution, maintaining that a "party of the Right" must be formed to counteract the effects of the Left and the materialist messianists who control it. Knupffer proposes a distinct platform for any "party of the Right", including opposition to usury, opposition to communism, support for the Christian churches, and an extension of the law of libel so as to cover "public libel" among other things. The book ends with an appendix showing the negative economic consequences of the implementation of communism upon the Russian people, contrary to what is maintained by the communists themselves and their supporters.
This book offers a unique account of the evils of both usury capitalism and socialism/communism - two sides of the same coin, really - from the perspective of a Russian Christian. The book shows how the manipulation of the economic system and warfare by the bankers and the elite has enabled the creation of a World Government which must be opposed by all Christian men and women. As such, this book is an invaluable contribution to our understanding of the economic processes at work behind the scenes in the enslavement and control of the people of the world.

Great Book
By Jorg Gunnderson
The author, born in St. Petersburg on the eve of the Revolution, explains how taxes are levied to support, not the people, but the money-lenders; how finance-capitalism created Soviet Communism; how money is created out of nothing and lent at enormous profits to the State, industry and agriculture; and how the economic world is controlled by debt. A prescient foretelling of the collapse of Communism in Russia as well as a warning of the continuing menace of the one-world, debt-ruled superstate.
