About the Author
Lisa Gundry is Professor of Management in the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, where she teaches courses in Creativity in Business, Entrepreneurship & New Venture Management, and Entrepreneurship Strategy.� She is Director of the Leo V. Ryan Center for Creativity and Innovation at DePaul.� The Center offers programs on creative discovery and business innovation to the academic and business communities.�� Dr. Gundry was awarded the Innovation in Business Education Award in 1997, by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Mid-Continent East Association. She has also received the DePaul University Excellence in Teaching Award.���

Her most recent book is entitled, Breakthrough Teams for Breakneck Times: Unlocking the Genius of Creative Collaboration (Dearborn Pub: 2001, with L. LaMantia). She is also co-author of Blueprints for Innovation, with Charles W. Prather, 1995, Amacom, and Field Casework:� Methods for Consulting to Small and Start-up Businesses, (Sage with A. Buchko, 1996). Dr. Gundry has published numerous articles in journals including, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Relations, Journal of Small Business Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Journal of Enterprising Culture, Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship, and Organizational Dynamics. She conducts research on issues related to innovative processes in organizations, entrepreneurial growth strategies, and creativity in business. Her work has been featured in media such as The Wall St. Journal, Newsweek, Business Week, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago Business.

Jill Kickul is the Forsythe Chair in Entrepreneurship at the Thomas C. Page Center for Entrepreneurship Richard T. Farmer School of Business Miami University. Dr. Kickul received the 2000 Management Department Teaching Innovation and Assessment Award.� She has taught entrepreneurship internationally for the Helsinki School of Economics (Global Entrepreneurship) and for the International Bank of Asia (Hong Kong MBA Program). Her research interests include entrepreneurial intentions and behavior, strategic and innovation processes in start-up ventures, and, most recently, women in entrepreneurship.��

Dr. Kickul has many publications in entrepreneurship and management journals, including: Journal of Management, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior , Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, and Journal of Business Ethics.� Within the business community, she is currently working with local and state government leaders in identifying and assisting women entrepreneurs and their organizations create and facilitate new economic growth for their communities.

This is a phenomenal book. The authors KNOW how to recruit, manage and retain volunteers. This book has been a great help in understanding the thinking of today's volunteer. Not everyone is so enthusiastic about volunteering or has the amount of time to volunteer as I do. This book has helped me to not be disappointed for the lack of volunteers but encouraged and trained how to reach those that are available today to volunteer.

I liked it! Nice short that delivers

I've always been a fan of Gennita Low's military hero books. The only bad things about this novella was the fact its too short and the cheesy title. The story is a fast read that covers a rescue, so you are starting in the middle of a relationship, so there's no real character development, what you have is a snapshot of a story line, and I think its very well done. If you haven't had a chance to pick up one of Gennita Low's full length novels, go for it- I've never read anything bad from this author, This is just a snippet if her writing style.

Dr. Al Sears owns and operates The Center for Health and Wellness an integrative medicine and anti-aging clinic in south Florida where he has treated more than 15,000 patients. Do not buy this book. It's old information. I failed to check that before I purchased, but had it been interesting just on its on that would have been OK. This author's credentials are not as good as he claims as far as I'm concerned.

Great Book on Health

Dr. Al Sears has a new concept about health and nutrition. Basically, you need to stay away from processed foods, bread, and unhealthy carbs. In addition, you need to do high intensity, short duration exercise. Get the heart pumping and stop doing low intensity long duration exercise. That type of exercise will actually make your body weak and increase your fat levels. According to Dr. Sears, some of the best foods you can eat are organic/wild fish, beaf, eggs, chicken, etc. Eat fruits, nuts, and veggies except potatoes and peanuts (which aren't nuts). It's well written and easy reading.

Before writing novels, she worked tirelessly for the charity-run organisation Victims of Violence which she founded in 1976. Sadly, Joan died in 2006, but she is remembered fondly by her family and friends and her multitude of fans.
